So it’s spring. No matter what time of year it is, anywhere, you have surprise weather. In the Midwest we know that spring weather changes constantly. One day shorts, the next day you are using a snow shovel. Change is good. Change is constant.
Our God never changes. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Omnipresence,
Omniscience, Omnipotence! These are the three attributes of God. He is everywhere, all knowing and all-powerful.
The tornado season, where I grew up, was usually in a couple months span. Then we expected some pretty heavy wind and rain. Now where I live, it seems to come over spring, through summer and then some. Next comes heavy winters and cold. Meanwhile, earthquakes crop up in strange states, tsunamis,and flooding is everywhere. Hurricanes,fires, you name it. It is all very unpredictable. Our world is changing.
Some people that really don’t know God, that don’t have a deeper understanding of Him, nor do they want to, may say God is the reason that our lives are in chaos. They might tell you that a loving God would not permit this extreme anxiety. What would you tell them if you know that God has been working in your life? I tell them that God walks with me through those trials. I can depend on Him through all that hits me and makes my world turn upside down. That God wants us to believe that Jesus died for us and through that belief we are His children and He cares for us and shows us His divine love here on earth until we meet Him in Heaven.
We sinned, the world is broken and stuff happens all the time. That’s the name of this game.
For Christians that know God, trust God and have faith, will pray, wait for an answer, (or a nudge,) and be guided by the Word.
When the world is spinning too fast for your comfort, seek guidance and truth in the Bible. Lean on like Christian friends and fellowship in order to find your peace in the pandemonium.
When you are trusting in the Lord, showing others of your resilience, and continuing on in faith., you will strengthen your relationship with God and be able to show others that in this world, we need those (3) attributes that God has proved over and over. Omnipresence, omniscience and omniscience.
Know Him and obey. It makes the times so much more orderly and manageable.
