On the ground on the park road, lay a tossed nest, still fresh in spring twigs and leaves, and frozen on the ground, were the babies it had thrown aside in the wind.
The tears flowed as I gently picked up the tiny cold bodies and placed them in a clean bag that I carried. The fact that their lives had just begun and were now over followed swiftly that the circle of life can be fleeting.
Isaiah 11:6-8
“The wolf will live the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together, and a little child will lead them. the cow will feed with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. The infant will play near the cobra’s den, and the young child will put its hand and the viper’s nest.”
The same with humans. The Lord knows when we will be called to Him. We must live our lives according to God’s will.
Babies and animals have no control over worshiping God before they are called into His loving arms. God made them, He loves them, and He saves them in a special place in Heaven.
Those of us that walk and live on earth for years have a choice. Make good choices, choose God and obey His commandments.
In Jesus name,
Amen.
